Amazing Technology

Saw two videos this week that I thought were amazing and wanted to pass them along in case you hadn’t seen them. The first one has to do with a copy machine “on steroids” that can produce 3-D items and the second one has to do with making life more normal for those confined to using a wheelchair. Today’s technology is totally amazing!

I’ve always thought getting away from the city and visiting some of the National parks was the best vacation ever. So, when I saw the video below, knew I had to share it with you. It is a time lapse video which appears to have been taken in Utah and Arizona. I recognize some of the places, i.e., the Arches National Park – those are the shots taken through the rocks. If you have the opportunity to go there it is worth the trip. When we were there a few years back it did not have a lot of amenities (they were busy working on them) and was very primitive compared to some of the other National parks – but absolutely spectacular.

I’ve been hearing snippets of this song on the television over the past few weeks - it was used in one of the promos for the television series ‘V’ . . . as well as for some other promos that totally escape me at the moment. It has a very distinct sound and if you’ve heard it and wondered who was singing and what the title might be here it is . . . Uprising by MUSE.
